CX75

Siemens CX75 Multimedia CellphoneSiemens announced CX75, a successor of Siemens CX70 at Cebit 2004. Siemens CX75 is basically aimed at multimedia features and targetted user circle is middle class. But, in my opinion, Siemens CX70 is an unacceptable type of cellphone from any class. Lets get into the details.

Features

Siemens CX75 bears a 1.3 megaixel camera which can be able to take nice quality pictures and share them. You can upload pictures to internet or transfer them via bluetooth. Another interesting feature is the presence of 3D games. A couple of 3D games are also built-in to Siemens CX75. These features are backed up by a 262k screen, bluetooth, and expandable memory with RS-MMC slot. Siemens CX75 can also play mp3 files but it can't be used as an mp3 player because the mp3 feature can't run in the background. Its size and weight are bit increased than its forerunner i.e. 110mm x 47.7mm x 18.9mm and 98g.

Conclusion

Siemens CX75 will be released in june 2005. Even with such features, i didnt see the slightest of a possitive response for Siemens CX75. The basic differences might be that first of all there is nothing new in the phone. Secondly, what could be worse than a small screen and big keypad these days !!. As usual, Siemens design and graphics got a huge criticism from many people. Overall, Siemens CX75 didnt got recommendation from many people, so is the case with me. Siemens CX75 will further discourage Siemens impact as its happening since the last year.
