Stop Phone Spam
Submitted by jimf on 18 March, 2008 - 20:31Register your telephone with the National US Do Not Call Registry to avoid receiving unwanted marketing calls at home.
Have you ever been disrupted by an unwanted call from a telemarketer when you are reading a book, watching TV or late in the night when you are sleeping?
If so, you’re not alone.
Your first step to prevent this harassment is to register your cell phone number with the FCC's Do-Not-Call Registry.
When you've registered callers may only call you when they
- have established a business relationship with you,
- have you prior written permission,
- do not call commercially or do not include unsolicited advertisements.

Save on long distance calls using Onesuite.com
Submitted by Vinj on 8 January, 2008 - 14:53Onesuite.com is a long distance provider where you can use it either as a phone card or a voip service.
Rates are very competitive and there are access numbers in more than a couple of dozens countries around the world. So if you are in China or U.K. for example then you can still use its phone card service for calling any country in the world.
Voip service is another service they offer where you can use the same account. So most prolly we are all familiar on voip concept so no need to explain what voip is.
Everything can be done online (recharging, checking call history, changing details, etc) and accepted form of payments are Paypal, Mastercard and Visa.
I saved a lot using Onesuite compared when I still use my local phone provider for making long distance calls.
